Arm Chair B35
Marcel Breuer began as a pupil at the Bauhaus in 1920 and returned there as the head of its furniture workshop in 1925. There he developed the tubular steel furniture that for many is the face of the Bauhaus. Breuer’s B35 with a cantilevered seat debuted in Paris in 1930. Quite soon thereafter the Thonet store in Amsterdam delivered the chair on view to a customer from Waalwijk.
