The collar necklace Remnants is made of gold and tantalum, a rare, highly malleable metal that is increasingly being used in the jewellery industry. However, tantalum’s very high melting point makes it difficult to melt down leftover scraps. Philip Sajet therefore assembled the remaining fragments on his workbench into a necklace.
