Huszár lived opposite from Kees Bruynzeel, who worked at C. Bruynzeel & Zonen, a wood finishing factory in Rotterdam that produced wood flooring and doors. Given Huszár’s technical interests he will have drawn this sawing machine on the spot. Bruynzeel, in turn, was fascinated by art and commissioned Huszár on behalf of the company, as well as privately, namely for the decoration of his country house.
