Tea bowl
These bowls are decorated with engraved and stamped motifs. The semi-transparent white glaze has accumulated
in the grooves, highlighting the decoration. This free, spontaneous style originated in Korea and greatly appealed to Japanese lovers of ceremonial teawares. Korean models were thus soon imitated in Japan.
