A wedding is still a major event. Guests go yo church beautifully dressed and adorned with silver jewelry, two by two in pairs. The bridal procession is an old tradition, especially in Karasjok and Kautokeino. After the wedding ceremony follows a great feast. This cup is richly decorated with vertical and zigzag lines.
