Twee-baans huipil, rondom de opening voor het hoofd versierd met borduurwerk. De banen zijn aan elkaar gezet met 'randa' (siersteek). De huipil vertegenwoordigt een traditionele stijl. Vormt een set met wikkelrok 5946-473.<BR> <BR> Handspun white cotton, silk ribbon, multi-coloured yarn used for embroidery.<BR> <BR> Description: Handspun white cotton, plain weave. Garment consists of two webs joined with multi-coloured yarn, with a slit as neck opening. Neck opening is finished with silk ribbon, surrounded by multi-coloured embroidered floral motifs. <BR> <BR> Worn with skirt 5946-473. Acquired 1960.<BR> <BR> Provenience: San Pedro Quiatoni, Dist. of Tlacolula, Oax.<BR>
