Handspun white cotton, plain weave. Two webs are stitched together, red and blue cotton ribbons are sewn on to garment to create impression of three-panel huipil. Four red and blue ribbons are stitched together to form a broad band which is attached to hem of garment. A similar band is sewn on to garment at the waist. Arm opening finished with similar ribbons, forming a ruche. Square cut neck opening is finis­hed with narrow red and blue ribbons and white cloth. Multi-colou­red embroi­dery of bird, floral and geometrical designs on shoulders, front, back and hem of garment.
