Schouderdoek (tralla)

Handspun white cotton, plain weave with cording. Garment consists of two four-selvage webs. A band of gauze weave is set between the panels. All over gar­ment are brocaded multi-coloured cross bands of geometri­cal and scorpion designs in commercial cotton yarn. Worn double over head and shoulders, or over both shoulders covering upper body as no huipil is worn.
