Materiaal: wit en rood katoen, rode en blauwe wol. <BR> <BR> Op deze ceintuur zijn een aantal figuren gebrocheerd op een witte ondergrond, alleen deze zijn nu allen in het blauw en het rood. Twee keer komen wij de Quetzal-danser tegen naast dieren, planten, een vrouwelijk figuur en geometrische figuren.<BR> <BR> Ceintuur is waarschijnlijk voor de toeristenindustrie bestemd.<BR> <BR> <BR> Commercial white and red cotton, red and blue wool. Red and blue motifs on a white background: "pluma dancer", female figures, animal, plant and geometrical motifs. Probably made for tourist market<BR> <BR> Provenience: Santo Tomás Jalieza, Dist. of Ocotlán, Oax.<BR> Acquired 1954 in Oaxaca City, bought at the market.
