De Amuzgo vrouwen staan bekend om het weven van hun “huipiles”. Dit kledingstuk bestaat gewoonlijk uit drie samengevoegde delen en is erg lang, reikt tot halverwege de kuiten, waardoor zelden een rok eronder gedragen wordt. Alleen bij speciale gelegenheden wordt soms een handgeweven wikkelrok gedragen. Brocaded rows of star shapes alternating with brocaded rows of floral shapes all over at 14 cm intervals.
