The outer side is made with two rows of parallel Coix seeds, kemberi, which were inclined in opposite sense. The rows are separated by a narrow plaited work of black mycelium, nau. Along the margin a row of Coix seeds is suspended from loose strings, putai, wutai. The latter carry also ball-shaped Coix seeds which are supported by a small knot.
