Schaal op drie poten en met een gemodelleerde jaguarkop aan de buitenzijde. De achterste poot lijkt op een staart, de andere twee zijn de poten van de jaguar. De kop en de kom zijn beschilderd met rode vlakken en zwarte lijnen en stippen op wit. De kop is hol en heeft zes gaten, twee voor de neusgaten. De stijl van de iconografie lijkt op de stijl dat in Vinculos 9 wordt beschreven als dat van het Birmania aardewerk, afkomstig uit Gran Nicoya.<BR> <BR> ----------------<BR> 27-3-2013<BR> <BR> White-slipped tripod vessel with a jaguar head protruding from the middle of the exterior wall. The rear support is meant to represent the tail of the animal, while the front two supports form the front paws. The vessel is painted with red and black lines and dots, with a red interior and rim. The head is hollow and has six holes, including two at the nostrils. There are clay balls in the head which rattle. The style of iconography is resembles that which is described as Birmania pottery in Vinculos 9, from the Costa Rican side of the Greater Nicoya area.
