Armband
A relatively large quantity of copper has been added in order to provide the gold of the core with a reddish gloss. The quadrants are amply decorated with spirals consisting of gold wire and with figures built up from globules (granulation work).
Dr. B. Hagen, who presented this bracelet, undertook study trips to the Karo region and to the Toba Highlands in 1881 and 1883, when this territory was barely mapped.
