The convent of Badjo is part of the so-called "Golden Triangle", which includes the three most important sacred places in the country: the "Lakou Badjo", the "Lakou Souvenence" and the "Lakou Soukri. Each lakou, literally "convent", corresponds to three different rites, respectively Nago, Dahomey and Congo.
