Kruisboog om ratten mee te spiezen.<BR> <BR> In doorgaans afgelegen gebieden wonen circa 80 miljoen adivasi, afstammelingen van de oerbewoners van het Indisch subcontinent. Enkele groepen hebben hun oorspronkelijke godsdienstvorm behouden. Zij vereren in de openlucht goden die zich manifesteren in stenen of in houten palen. Een medium legt contact met de godheid aan wie rijst, eieren en bloed van een offerdier worden geofferd.<BR> <BR> Adivasi<BR> <BR> The 80 million Adivasi, descendants of the original inhabitants of the Indian subcontinent, live in mainly isolated regions. Some groups have retained their original religion. They worship their gods, represented by stone or wooden poles, in the open air. Contact with the gods is achieved via a medium, while rice, eggs and the blood of an animal sacrifice are offered.
