On 12 March 1927 Otto Frank, Edith Frank-Holländer and Margot Frank were registered at the address Marbachweg 307-I.[1] They moved here from Mertonstrasse 4 in Frankfurt, the home of grandmother Alice Frank-Stern. On the ground floor of Marbachweg 307 lived the house's owner Könitzer and his family.[2] According to the address book of 1930, 'Kfm (Kaufman)' Otto Frank occupied 'I and II hoog'. The address book of 1931 only gives Marbachweg 307-I as the address. The telephone number was: Zepp. 53306.[3] Anne came out of the hospital twelve days after her birth on 24 June 1929. From then on she lived with her parents and Margot on Marbachweg.[4] In and around this house, photos were taken of Anne with her parents, Margot, maternity assistant Frl. Op 12 maart 1927 werden Otto Frank, Edith Frank-Holländer en Margot Frank ingeschreven op het adres Marbachweg 307-I.[1] Zij verhuisden hiernaartoe van de Mertonstraße 4 in Frankfurt, het huis van oma Alice Frank-Stern. Op de begane grond van Marbachwegnummer 307 woonde huiseigenaar Könitzer met zijn gezin.[2] Volgens het adresboek van 1930 bewoonde Kfm (Kaufman) Otto Frank I en II hoog. Het adresboek van 1931 geeft alleen Marbachweg 307-I als adres. Het telefoonnummer was: Zepp. 53306.[3]

Anne kwam twaalf dagen na haar geboorte op 24 juni 1929 uit het ziekenhuis. Vanaf toen woonde ze met haar ouders en Margot op de Marbachweg.[4] In en om deze woning zijn foto's gemaakt van Anne met haar ouders, Margot, kraamhulp Frl. Dassing,[5] Omi en Kati Stilgenbauer. De twee overgeleverde fotoalbums van Margot bevatten veel foto's van Margot in en om dit huis, ook met de buurkinderen.[6] Edith noemde later 'die Jahre im Marbachweg mit die schönsten.'[7] Op dit adres ontstond het contact met buurmeisje Gertrud Naumann die met haar familie op nummer 303 woonde.[8] Vooral Edith schreef na het vertrek naar Nederland veel met Gertrud.[9]

Op 25 maart 1931 verhuisde de familie naar de Ganghoferstraße 24.[1]
