Anne-Frank-Stichting
Created on Nov 22nd, 2022

The Anne Frank House (Anne Frank Stichting) is an independent organisation entrusted with the care of the Secret Annexe, the place where Anne Frank went into hiding during World War II and where she wrote her diary. It brings her life story to the attention of people all over the world to encourage them to reflect on the dangers of anti-Semitism, racism and discrimination and the importance of freedom, equal rights and democracy.

The two pillars on which the organisation rests are informing the public and education. Of our more than one hundred staff members, approximately half are engaged in work related to the museum and museum visitors. The rest of the staff are mainly involved in the development of educational projects and activities at home and abroad.
